ALTO is proud and excited to announce our membership in 1% for the Planet which commits 1% of our annual revenue to environmental organizations.

We try and make films that feel beautiful, raw, and compelling but how we make them must follow suit. We want to acknowledge how much waste goes into our craft and hold ourselves responsible. From travel to electricity to waste produced on sets, there’s a lot we are directly responsible for. So, earlier this year we decided to join 1% for the Planet to take a step in the right direction.

Nature has always been our source of inspiration and adventure. Looking back at our childhood years our desire to explore the natural world is what inspired us to get into film in the first place. Our partnership with 1% for the Planet is our way of starting to give back. It’s a small step, but an essential one in changing our operations bit by bit in pursuit of a more sustainable business that is mindful of its environmental impact.
