The Interaction Company of California launched Poke, an AI assistant that lives fully inside iMessage and integrates seamlessly with your email, calendar, and web accounts. Poke stands out with its approach of delivering short, conversational text bubbles, whether drafting replies, paying invoices, rescheduling meetings, or booking travel.

The Interaction team approached us to produce Poke’s product launch video, looking for a one-stop shop to support the creative, produce the shoot and handle all post-production.

Every project presents unique hurdles from prep through post, and Poke was no exception. Here’s how our team navigated the most critical scenarios:

• Viral Sense. Interaction’s ambition for a launch that would go viral meant every creative and production choice had to maximize virality. This raised the stakes but also gave our team freedom to push creative boundaries and explore bold, innovative approaches to bring the concept to life.
• Paris Without Leaving LA. The concept demanded the romance and allure of Paris. Rather than flying overseas, we recreated the essence of the city on LA stages - achieving authenticity while retaining the flexibility to execute complex shots, movements, and visual effects that would have cost 10x more to do in Paris.
• Lightning-Fast Turnaround. With a fixed launch date, timelines were tight. Our team ran an all-hands-on-deck post schedule, streamlining edits, VFX, sound design, and color to ensure Interaction’s Poke launched exactly as envisioned, without compromise on quality.
